Opportunity - Lead and manage the Service function, taking overall responsibility for the performance and development of the team. - Manage Service activities to deliver guaranteed availability at expected margin, ensuring consistency of high levels of service and service engineering standards throughout the US. - Provide regular project updates for current projects. Use experience and knowledge to solve problems, implementing solutions. - Represent the Service function at meetings with customers as required, applying expertise and technical input to ensure a successful outcome. - Support the Managing Director with annual budgets, quarterly reforecast and other financial performance metrics. - Take overall responsibility for ensuring that all Service operational staff understand Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management policies and procedures and that there is full adherence in all work undertaken. - Keep the Managing Director fully informed at all times, accelerating issues as appropriate. New Product Development - Be responsible for the development and execution of the project plan locally to provide any 'new product' Service offering (technical & commercial). Contracts and Pricing - Develop, control and periodically update all price models for all products across the region. - Develop, control and periodically update all Service or Parts contracts for all products across the region. Service Technician Development - Jointly with the Service Manager - Midwest, develop, install, maintain and continuously improve the Clarke Energy technician evaluation, development and tier system. - Jointly with the Service Manager - Midwest, develop, install, maintain and continuously improve the Clarke Energy technician training program including an apprentice program. - Jointly with the Service Manager - Midwest, ensure the standardization of measurement of technician capabilities across the USA. Key Suppliers - Monitor, manage and continuously improve the purchasing process with all key suppliers to maximize savings and margins. - Support the Managing Director by providing USA data to him when required. Other - Support the Managing Director in the building of a robust and successful Service function in the Northeast USA. Skills/Requirements - A minimum of 5 years Field Service engineering experience with knowledge of both electrical and mechanical engineering - Experience of the remote management of a team of engineers - Extensive customer relationship building experience To fully demonstrate our commitment to the health, safety, and wellbeing of our associates, we are requiring all U.S. based team members to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. Salary Range:
$80K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
