Position OverviewThe Virtual Chief Information Officer's (vCIOs)' primary role is to develop and maintain business relationships with approximately 30-40 selected clients in order to strategically plan and combine the client's technology alignment needs with their business goals.
Providing planning, budgeting, and strategic direction to clients are all key functions in this role.
vCIOs are responsible for gaining knowledge of their clients' business use of technology.
In addition to maintaining client relationships, vCIOs must collaborate and maintain excellent rapport with all ICS service delivery areas including Support, Alignment, and Professional Services.
Primary Responsibilities Manages relationships with principals, owners, and key stakeholders in client organizations.
Understands technology business drivers in client organizations.
Aligns client technology to standards and best practices.
Develops Strategic Technology Roadmaps and provides budget planning expertise to clients.
Educates clients on technology trends and opportunities.
Performs technical business consulting.
Works with clients and ICS Service Delivery teams on support escalations from client organizations.
Works with clients and other ICS functions on project scoping and management.

years related experience, managing IT in the small / medium business market Strong interpersonal / communication skills Critical Thinking / Problem Solving Skills required.
Independently motivated / Self starter Experience with IT capital is desired including expense budget planning Understanding of technical concepts / methodologies (prior hands-on technical experience is a plus) Prior consulting / Managed Service Provider experience is a plus.
